The winners of Bowling for Gold 2026

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Bowling for Gold 2026 on February 1! It was a fantastic day of community, competition, and raising funds for the Community Services Agency’s Emergency Assistance Fund.

This year for the first time, we are naming the tournament awards after Fred Allen, former president of Graphic Communications Local 713, Vice-Chair of the GPO Join Council of Unions for 32 years, and former Executive Officer and Trustee of the Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO. Fred came up with the idea of Bowling For gold and each year has generated 10-15 teams from the Printcraft local at the Government Printing Office. Beginning this year, we will honor Fred’s legacy with awards named in his honor.

Here are the Fred Allen Bowling for Gold Award Winners from this year’s tournament as well as photos from the event.
